| Ifilm and AdSociety Enter Exclusive Sales Partnership in Asia Pacific to Create Broadband Advertising Opportunities

AdSociety, the first pan-Asian broadband
advertising, marketing and sales network and a majority-owned joint venture of
PCCW (SEHK: 0008, NYSE: PCW [ADR]) has signed an exclusive sales
representation agreement with IFILM, a leading US broadband entertainment
site.
Launched in October 1998, IFILM is the leading editorial guide and directory for broadband filmed entertainment. IFILM's directory has over 15,000 Internet films from major broadband content providers. Currently, IFILM enjoys one million unique visitors, 15 million page views, and more than 2.5 million film views each month. IFILM recently closed a US$10 million dollar investment round. Axiom Ventures, Eastman Kodak Company, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Vulcan Ventures, and GeoCities Founder David Bohnett's Baroda Ventures increased their existing investments. New investors participating include Falcon Cable Founder Marc Nathanson, former Global Crossing CEO Leo Hindery and Yahoo!. Under the agreement, AdSociety has the exclusive pan-Asian rights to sell targeted ISTREAMs, which provide innovative advertising opportunities to seamlessly display 15 second rich-media messages before each film. As a measure of IFILM's success in the broadband entertainment world, IFILM's "405 The Movie" has generated more than 3.5 million views to date, making it the #1 film in internet history.
