ValueFlash and The AdSociety Group form Strategic Alliance for VFlash, 

To Push eCRM Across Asia

VFlash allows advertisers to communicate directly with consumers online

 

Hong Kong August 27 2001 - ValueFlash (Hong Kong) Limited and The AdSociety Group, a majority-owned joint venture of PCCW (SEHK : 008, NYSE : PCW [ADR]), has entered into a Strategic Alliance Agreement.  The AdSociety Group will work with advertisers to market the VFlash Interactive eCRM (electronic Customer Relationship Management) Messenger Solution to its advertiser portfolio across Asia.

VFlash is a high-impact direct marketing vehicle that delivers tailored and targeted content to computer users once the application has been downloaded.

Under the partnership The AdSociety Group will work with advertisers to formulate and create powerful eCRM marketing and brand building messages delivered via VFlash technology. This will help advertisers understand, build and retain profitable relations with existing and new customers.

The VFlash solution allows advertisers to “talk” directly to their potential customers by sending messages and content to the user’s desktop icon, which is filtered to match individual preferences.  As a result, advertisers can greatly improve their response rates and ROI because they are marketing directly to targeted groups of consumers. VFlash has fast become a popular marketing tool in the US because it provides the element of choice and customizability to advertisers and users.

ValueFlash will leverage The AdSociety Group’s expertise in the following areas:

- Established relationships with traditional advertisers across key Asian markets,

- More than 100 media sales professionals across 8 key Asian markets,

- Solid media joint venture partners in Asia’s three biggest Wireless, Online and

  Broadband markets – China, Japan and Korea, 

- Pan-Asian marketing consulting services and local expertise to draw up and

  execute effective e-marketing strategies,

- Ability to target and manage permission-based user databases,

- Integrate new media formats that engage cutting-edge eCRM solutions,

- Sophisticated user profiling tools and detailed real-time campaign report analysis,

- Experience in sophisticated new media technology-driven advertising campaigns.
