KK AdSociety Japan Partners With RealNetworks KK To
Offer New Multimedia Advertising Solutions To Advertisers In Japan | ||

HONG
KONG, August 20, 2001—KK AdSociety Japan, a
majority-owned joint venture of The AdSociety Group has announced a
partnership with RealNetworks KK, the leaders of Internet media delivery in
Japan. Under the partnership,
KK AdSociety Japan will collaborate with RealNetworks KK to offer new
innovative multimedia infomercials across RealNetworks’ Real Guide, one of
the highest-ranking Audio and Video streaming Web sites in Japan.
The
AdSociety Group, a majority-owned joint venture of PCCW (SEHK : 0008, NYSE :
PCW [ADR]), is the first pan-Asian broadband and wireless advertising,
marketing and sales network. RealNetworks
KK is part of RealNetworks Inc. (NASDAQ : RNWK), the global leader in

Player. As a measure of success, advertising campaigns can be served and

Advertisers
can also select to showcase their products through Real Guide or specific
category defined channels such as, movies, entertainment, news, business,
sports or music for more targeted audiences. In
a further move to help advertisers maximize brand mileage, RealNetworks KK
will send alerts within its bi-monthly newsletter to notify readers of newly
added content featured within Real Guide. “Our
partnership with RealNetworks KK greatly enhances our service offerings in
Japan to assist marketers and advertisers to deliver substantially higher
