(www.msn.com.hk) and Singapore

MSN's global network of Internet services help consumers get the most from the Web, offering e-mail, instant messaging, search, personal finance, sports, news and weather information. It is the world's leading Internet destination, with more than 210 million unique users - defined as users reaching the site directly rather than via another site - worldwide. Core features include MSN Hotmail, MSN Messenger Service, MSN Search, MSN custom Web sites, MSN Chat, and Microsoft Passport for convenient and secure online purchasing. Nielsen/Net Ratings rated MSN in September as the second most popular website in Hong Kong accessed from home with a unique audience of 795,000. This is equivalent to more than 50 percent of Hong Kong's active Internet users. Each user was reported to spend an average of 26 minutes on the Hong Kong MSN sites. AdSociety currently provides advertising, marketing and sales services to PCCW's Network of the World (NOW), and other PCCW-related companies as well as provides pioneering broadband and online marketing solutions and services to both advertisers and member websites. AdSociety operates from eight cities across Asia namely in Beijing, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, Sydney, Taiwan and Tokyo. "AdSociety's ability to win a major global Internet brand such as MSN in just less than two months after the launch of our online advertising services, underlines the recognized experience of our sales staff and our reputation as the leading advertising, marketing and sales network in the region. Now that we have our broadband advertising services in operations for the last five months, this major win with MSN will set the scene for our entry into the online advertising business," said AdSociety's Founder & CEO, Patrick Jonathan Wong. "MSN is the world's leading Internet destination, with the broadest deployment of any portal, available in 33 markets and 17 languages around the world. Numerous international markets have adopted MSN as their portal of choice and the brand is rapidly building critical mass in Hong Kong and Singapore. Our mission now is to make advertisers aware of the compelling marketing and sales opportunities MSN presents and to quickly build advertising revenues for our client," Patrick added. With traditional advertisers increasingly attracted to online advertising as part of their media mix, AdSociety will target fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) brands that are investing in developing their sites. AdSociety considers portals such as MSN, which offer well-established brands and strong communities, to be the right place for FMCG advertisers to reach their target audience. Andrew Tu, Regional Online Advertising Director for MSN Asia, added: "With their extensive experience and reputation in the media industry, and as an independent advertising network, AdSociety is ideally positioned to meet our needs. With the recent announcement of our new US$150 million global consumer marketing campaign, the timing of the appointment couldn't have been better as we expect an exponential growth in the coming months." Dedicated AdSociety teams in both Hong Kong and Singapore are focusing on selling MSN portals with the support of the AdSociety regional Network Sales Team. MSN is to appoint key personnel in each market to provide information and training to assist AdSociety in meeting the agreed targets. MSN will also support AdSociety through trade advertising.
