  Samantha Chan
Samantha is The AdSociety Group's vice president of corporate communications & regional marketing where she is responsible for all aspects of, and the continual strengthening of the company's public relations, communications and image intensification exercises in Asia. Samantha brings to the company over seven years of solid experience working in various roles within the Internet and IT industry in Asia and London.

Samantha joined The AdSociety Group from Information Age, a Hong Kong-based Internet content and Web solutions company she co-founded in September 1999. Information Age secured its first round of funding from chinadotcom (NASDAQ: CHINA). She played a multi-faceted and key role in determining the company's strategy, business development, marketing and advertising operations in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Prior to her start-up days, Samantha gained wide experience and exposure to the Asia IT vendor, press, public relations, and dot com community via a three year stint as a technology journalist and corporate writer. Samantha has held various writing posts including with PCWorld Hong Kong, a respected publication of US-based IDG Communications where she conducted independent and intricate software and hardware lab tests. Also, she worked for ITAsia, a regional technology publication for enterprise planners and decision makers in Asia.

In addition, Samantha worked as a programmer and systems administrator at Schlumberger in London for three years before embarking on her career in Asia.

Samantha graduated in Computer Studies from Greenwich University, London and further studied a Webmaster Cert course in Hong Kong.
