  Patrick Jonathan Wong
Patrick Jonathan Wong is the founder and group chief executive officer of The AdSociety Group, a joint venture with Pacific Century CyberWorks[SEHK: 0008, NYSE : PCW (ADR)].  
 
Patrick, 36, has over 10 years of start-up and operational experience with a wide range of global and regional media, broadcasting, telecommunications, satellite and Internet ventures. He has held senior management and top positions at 24/7 Media Asia, Chinadotcom, Star TV, News Corporation, Pacific Century Group, Hutchison Telecommunications, and Globalstar.

Prior to founding The AdSociety Group, Patrick was the Managing Director for 24/7 Media Asia, a business unit of Chinadotcom (NASDAQ: CHINA). At 24/7 Media Asia, Patrick built the first and largest pan-Asian interactive advertising sales network and had overall responsibility for all aspects of the company's strategy, its growth, client development, corporate partnerships and management of 200 media professionals across nine countries. Patrick also served as Vice President, Online Advertising for Chinadotcom.

In 1990, Patrick was part of the pioneering team that launched Star TV, the first pan-Asian satellite television network, taking a number of senior management positions within the network and its subsequent parent, News Corporation (NYSE : NWS); including setting up the network's first regional office in Singapore where he served as Southeast Asia's Regional Director.

In 1994, Patrick rejoined the founders of Star TV and worked on the launch of Corporate Access, Pacific Century Group's satellite venture; the first pan-Asian VSAT-based satellite telecommunications network. Patrick was later transferred to Hutchison Telecommunications [SEHK: 0013] to serve as Asia's Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Business Development.

In 1997, Patrick co-founded East West Ventures, a boutique technology venture capital firm.

In 1998, Patrick moved to the Silicon Valley and joined Globalstar, a Loral Space & Communications company (NYSE: LOR) as Asia's Regional Director. The Globalstar satellite venture consists of a constellation of 52 satellites that provides wireless global mobile communications virtually anywhere in the world. Subsequently Patrick led Globalstar's launch into Asia by establishing its Asian head office in Hong Kong.
 
In the May 11th, 2001 issue of The AsiaWeek magazine, Patrick was named as one of 25 Young, Wired and Rich Asians who are shaking up the region's business establishment.
