  Mark Halstead
Mark Halstead is The AdSociety Group's general manager for Australasia and has overall responsibility for the company's operations throughout Australia and New Zealand. An online marketing pioneer, he brings exceptional insight from his global sales and start-ups experience to The AdSociety Group. Mark has successful track records in various start-ups and advertising sales in the Internet and television industries in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Prior to joining The AdSociety Group, Mark was the business development manager at Persona Asia where he was instrumental in the launch of Asia's first permission-based marketing organization and built the company to become a leading one-to-one interactive permission-marketing network in Australia and Asia. He successfully developed strategic alliances for Persona Asia with several established financial institutions in Australia.

Mark developed his strong Internet and start-up experience at LibertyOne where as its group sales manager he established the overall sales strategy for the Australia's first listed Internet company.

Mark also spent seven years in Europe where he held senior sales positions at several reputable media. As the group sales manager for Channel 5 Broadcasting in London, he launched the UK's last terrestrial station and at a particular year, led his group to an outstanding sales advertising revenue of ¢G25m. At the UK Gold Broadcasting, Mark was responsible for building the advertising revenue for the launch of two satellite channels - the UK Gold and the UK Living. Under his strong leadership, the UK Gold made remarkable profits within the first three years from its inception.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland, Australia.
