Irene Lau is The AdSociety Group's Director of Regional Human Resources & Administration where she provides crucial human resources management services and support to over 100 employees across the Group's nine offices. She has held the critical task in establishing effective Human Resource and people management programs in order to attract and retain the best talents from all over the Asian region forming the backbone of the company.
Irene oversees the entire management of all human resources and employment issues including staffing, payroll, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance appraisals. In addition, Irene oversees Group's administration and housekeeping. Irene joins AdSociety with a wealth of human resources experience gained from several Hong Kong-based public-listed conglomerates where she was exposed to multiple challenging human resource environments. Previously, Irene worked for Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (KCRC), a public corporation charged with the task of operating and developing domestic, cross-border and inter-city railway services in Hong Kong. Under the West Rail Division, Irene's prime responsibilities included the recruitment and selection of management and executive staff. Her duties also included monitoring staff movements, compensation and benefit reviews, annual business planning, performance appraisal reviews, interpretation of company policies, representative of consultative committee. Irene also led the human resources ISO team within the Division. Irene's human resources experience also stems from working at Hong Kong-listed Swire Group and Wo Kee Hong Group where she managed multi-faceted human resources tasks and subjects. Irene graduated from Griffith University, Australia with a Bachelor degree major in Human Resources Management. | ||
